Mantan Majatalo and Mantan Luontopalvelut
These booking and cancellation terms and conditions apply to the operations of Tuija Lauronen, business ID 1890942-3, the company. The company is responsible for the operations of Mantan Majatalo and Mantan Luontopalvelut. Tuija Lauronen, business ID 1890942-3, complies with the following terms and conditions when ordering, booking and cancelling restaurant, café and catering services, program services and activities, and accommodation services:
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLYING TO ALL COMPANY DIVISIONS
RESERVATIONS AND CONFIRMATIONS
A reservation can be made verbally, face to face, by telephone or in writing by email.
The reservation made is confirmed in writing by email by the service provider. If the customer does not have access to email, the reservation confirmation can also be made verbally. The confirmation includes a description of the agreed services, their prices, and the company's valid booking and cancellation terms and conditions are provided to the customer upon confirmation.
After confirmation, the booking is binding on both the service provider and the customer.
The booking terms and conditions can be deviated from if necessary, if this has been separately agreed in writing with the customer.
The customer cannot transfer the booking to a third party without the service provider's consent.
Number of people confirmation
- Number of people must be confirmed for restaurant services no later than 7 days before the start of the event.
- Number of people must be confirmed for group services and service packages no later than 14 days before the start of the event.
- Number of people must be confirmed for activities and program services no later than 3 days before the event. beginning
PAYMENT TERMS
The subscriber pays in cash, by bank or credit card, unless otherwise agreed upon in the payment terms.
Invoicing is a possible payment method if separately agreed upon, in which case the billing information must be provided to the service provider when placing the order. Invoicing takes place afterwards. An invoicing surcharge will be added to the invoice, unless otherwise agreed. Late payment interest is in accordance with the Interest Act.
We reserve the right to use payment terms that differ from this, which are negotiated separately with the subscriber in each case.
SERVICE PACKAGES
A service package always means the total package price, which includes the services described in advance in the offer. The service package is always invoiced as such, regardless of whether the customer or all group members have participated in, for example, all meals, activities or other services.
Cooperation courses for which Mantan Majatalo or Mantan Luontopalvelut provide full-board services and for which participants register individually are also considered service packages.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
The customer must notify the service provider of cancellations by email mohkonmanta@luukku.com or by phone at 040 86 16 373.
Cancellation is considered to have taken place when the cancellation is notified by phone or email by 4:00 PM. A notification of cancellation received later will be deemed to have been received on the next working day.
The service provider will confirm cancellations in writing by email. Confirmation of the cancellation must be made within a reasonable working time of submitting the relevant cancellation.
We reserve the right to use different cancellation terms, which will be negotiated separately in each case.
CHANGES, SPECIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS OF RESTAURANT AND CATERING SERVICE RESERVATIONS
The reservation is valid for the number of people indicated by the subscriber, which the subscriber can change up to 7 days before the event. The customer undertakes to notify the final number of participants and any special diets no later than 7 days before the start of the event.
If the notification of a reduction in the number of participants is received later than the above-mentioned time or is not received at all, the service provider has the right to charge the customer for the services ordered in advance according to the number of people notified.
If the number of participants changes significantly, the service provider has the right to assign the customer a different room than the one agreed upon and renegotiate the details of the event, such as possible room rent.
The group size that affects the price per person for the service is considered to be adults and people over 12 years of age. Children under 12 years of age -50% of the adult price and children under 4 years of age are included in the group for free.
The offer provided by the service provider includes the use of the reserved room for coffee breaks for one hour and for meals for two hours. Longer stays at the service provider's premises are always agreed on a case-by-case basis.
The order will be charged in accordance with the payment terms and conditions, in accordance with the number of people confirmed 7 days before the event. If there are more diners than the confirmed number of people, billing will be done according to the actual group size.
If the customer cancels their reservation, regardless of the reason for the cancellation, they will be charged the following fees:
Cancellation of the entire reservation for groups
- The restaurant must be notified of the cancellation of the reservation no later than 7 days before the start of the event, so that the cancellation does not incur costs for the customer.
- If the cancellation occurs 6-3 days before the event, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the order value according to the last announced number of people.
- If the cancellation occurs later than 3 days before the event, the customer will be charged 100% of the order value according to the last announced number of people.
ACCOMMODATION SERVICE RESERVATIONS CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
The accommodation reservation confirmed by the service provider is binding on both parties. If either party breaches the agreement, he is obliged to pay compensation to the other party.
If the service provider incurs special costs due to the accommodation reservation, the customer will reimburse these costs in full.
Cancellation of accommodation reservation for private customers:
Note! Does not apply to service packages or cooperation courses.
- If the cancellation occurs no later than 6 pm on the day before arrival, the cancellation will be free of charge.
- If the cancellation occurs later than the above-mentioned time, the customer will pay the price of one day's accommodation, according to the number of people according to the booking confirmation, if the reserved accommodation capacity cannot be resold.
- If the customer does not arrive without having cancelled the order, the charge will be made according to the number of people according to the booking confirmation.
Cancellation of accommodation reservations for groups, min. 10 people:
- If the cancellation is made no later than 21 days before the start of the reservation, the cancellation will be free of charge.
- If the reservation is cancelled later than 21 days but no later than 7 days before the start of the reservation, the service provider has the right to charge the group booking party 50% of the accommodation price, if the reserved accommodation capacity cannot be resold.
- If the reservation is cancelled no later than 7 days before the start of the trip, the service provider has the right to charge the group booking party the full price of the reservation, if the reserved accommodation capacity cannot be resold.
Other things to note about group accommodation: Name lists and any special diets must be reported no later than 7 days before the start of the event.
ACTIVITY AND CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS OF PROGRAM SERVICE RESERVATIONS AND SERVICE PACKAGES
Cancellation of activity and program service and service package reservations:
- If the cancellation occurs earlier than 14 days before the start of the activity, the cancellation will be free of charge.
- If the cancellation occurs 13-7 days before the agreed start time of the activity, the booker will be charged 25% of the agreed price, based on the latest confirmed number of people.
- If the cancellation occurs 6-4 days before the agreed start time, the booker will be charged 50% of the agreed price, based on the latest confirmed number of people.
- If the cancellation occurs 3-0 days before the agreed start time, the booker will be charged the full agreed price, based on the latest according to the confirmed number of people.
- The basis for invoicing is the confirmation of the number of people made 3 days before the agreed start time, or if there are more participants than confirmed, the actual number of people.
- The above cancellation terms are also used for cancellations of service packages for cooperation courses, where people have registered individually for the course and the cancellation applies to one person.
ACCOMMODATION SERVICES
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The apartment is available to the customer from 2 pm on the day of arrival. The apartment must be vacated no later than 12:00 on the day of departure.
LATE ARRIVAL
The booked apartment is considered reserved until 18:00 on the day of arrival, unless a later arrival time has been agreed with the customer.
STAYING AT OUR ACCOMMODATION
Our guests are required to familiarize themselves with the instructions in the apartment folder and follow them during their stay. If the accommodation apartment requires cleaning that deviates from normal after the guest, the service provider has the right to charge an additional cleaning fee.
The guest/booker is obliged to compensate in full for any damage caused to the property/apartment. The guest/booker is also responsible for any damage caused to the apartment by other people in the apartment or by a pet.
The accommodation may not be used by more people than stated when making the reservation. Smoking is prohibited in all of our indoor areas. Pets are allowed in some of our accommodation apartments. Pets must always be notified in advance when making the reservation. The pet fee is €15/stay/animal.
ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAM SERVICES
The subscriber undertakes to follow the type-specific instructions received from the service provider and to use the equipment and safety equipment used in the activities and program services in accordance with the instructions.
The service provider has the right to remove a person who disrupts the group's activities, endangers the group's safety, or is intoxicated from the service. In this case, the service provider is not liable for compensation for the interrupted service.
Prevailing weather conditions may cause changes to the service schedule and program. If the change is due to ensuring safety, the service provider is not liable for the change. In the event of a change or cancellation due to weather conditions, the service provider is obliged to present the subscriber with a new time for the service to be carried out. The subscriber has the right to accept or reject the proposal and cancel the reservation free of charge.
INSURANCE & DEDUCTIBLE
The service provider has valid liability insurance. The service provider is liable for damages resulting from the negligence of our staff in ensuring safety or damaged equipment. The service provider is not liable for damages that are covered by the customer's own travel insurance, including sufficient cancellation coverage. If the customer has any illnesses, injuries or mobility restrictions that may affect the use of our services, we ask that you inform us of them when booking.
We always recommend taking out your own travel insurance. Our customers are responsible for their own accident and travel insurance to the extent they consider sufficient.
SUCCESSOR'S RESPONSIBILITY
After confirming the reservation, the customer agrees to the above-mentioned reservation and payment terms. In addition, the customer is responsible for the equipment and movable property they bring to the premises. The customer agrees to follow the instructions given by the staff regarding the use of the premises, equipment and company property. The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the property or the company's movable property by the equipment and movable property brought by the customer or by the people in the group. In the event of any damage, the service provider will invoice the customer for any repair, cleaning, etc. costs.
If the service provider makes special arrangements at the customer's request, such as taking care of the customer's desired program arrangements, special decorations, unusual opening hours, etc., the customer undertakes to pay the costs incurred from the measures taken if the event is cancelled.
FORCE MAJEURE AND EXCEPTIONAL SITUATIONS
The service provider has the right to cancel or change the reservation due to circumstances that the service provider cannot influence (force majeure, e.g., weather conditions). Damages caused by these will not be compensated.
The reasons mentioned above also apply to subcontractors. The bankruptcy of the subcontractor is also considered a force majeure.
The service provider has the right to interrupt the event or cancel the reservation if it disrupts other activities, violates Finnish law or the terms of the contract or endangers the reputation or safety of the service provider.
COMPLAINTS
Comments and complaints related to all our services must be addressed immediately upon their occurrence directly to the staff of our company Tuija Lauronen, business ID 1890942-3, by telephone at 040 86 16 373 or by email mohkonmanta@luukku.com. This allows us to react immediately and we will try to correct the subject of the comment or complaint while the service is being used.
Any disagreements are resolved through negotiations between the customer and the service provider. If the disagreement cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the customer can submit the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board for resolution www.kuluttajariita.fi. If no agreement is reached, the matter will be handled in the district court.
