Apartment accommodation at Mantan Inn in Möhkö

Our accommodation is located in the village of Möhkö, 21 km east of the center of Ilomantsi. We offer comfortable apartment accommodation in a quiet and scenic location by the Koitajoki River. Our individual apartments exude the atmosphere of an old building. Our apartments have their own kitchens and bathrooms per apartment.

The accommodation is located in the immediate vicinity of the Möhkö ironworks. Petkeljärvi National Park is 12 kilometers away. Accommodation is available by advance reservation all year round.

The larger apartment Suma, downstairs, is a comfortable, spacious two-room apartment with two separate bedrooms, a spacious living room and kitchen and a bathroom. There are 1-10 beds in Suma.

The smaller apartment Utju, downstairs, is an atmospheric studio with its own kitchenette and 1-5 beds. The bathroom in the Utju apartment is accessed through the lobby of the guesthouse.

The Kaplas apartment, located on the upper floor of the guesthouse, is a spacious studio apartment. The apartment has a kitchen, a combined living room and bedroom, and a toilet/shower. The upstairs apartment has 1-6 beds.

Suma, Kaplas and Utju - Mantan Guesthouse apartments

All three of our accommodation apartments, Suma, Kaplas and Utju, have been named after the theme of savotta. Do you know what they mean? Suma is a clump of trees formed during a drift. Kaplas is a support beam between the skid and the body of a sleigh. Utju is a tree that floats poorly and is about to sink.

In addition to accommodation facilities, all of our apartments have their own kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Our apartments also have a microwave, refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, basic tableware, hairdryer and TV. The accommodation price includes bed linen and towels. The accommodation day at Mantan Majatalo starts at 2 pm on the day of arrival and ends at 12 pm on the day of departure.

Additional information Bed linen and towels are included in the price of accommodation. If you stay longer, you will receive a 10% discount on the daily price of accommodation starting from the second night of accommodation. Larger groups and longer stays by separate agreement.

Apartment equipment

In addition to accommodation facilities, all our apartments have their own kitchen and an apartment-specific bathroom and toilet.

Our apartments are also equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, tea kettle, basic tableware, hairdryer, TV and WiFi. The price of accommodation includes bed linen and towels.

Upon request, the following equipment can be delivered to the apartment: an ironing board and iron, children's dishes and a high chair.

Our guests also have a wide selection of yard and board games at their disposal, such as petanque, darts with darts, mölkky, yatsy, alias, huhupuhe, kimble, various memory games and playing cards. We keep the games in our common areas, ask our staff to lend them to you.

Sauna at Manta Inn

In the courtyard of Mantan Inn, there is a separate traditional courtyard sauna, completed in 2016, which offers our guests relaxing steam baths. The sauna is heated for our customers according to their needs by separate agreement.

There is no fixed price for sauna use, but the price is affected by, among other things, the number of sauna users, the duration of the accommodation period and the service package booked. The minimum price for sauna heating is €50/heating session.

Please remember to inquire about the possibility of sauna use when making a reservation. This way we can prepare in time for sauna heating and reserve the necessary resources.

Services for motorhomes and caravans

There are some electric places in the yard of Mantan Majatalo for camper vans and caravans. In addition to electricity, we can provide a cold water point for caravans. The other booking situation of Mantan Majatalo may affect the availability of these services, so please always check the situation in good time before your arrival. The nearest official campsite with better service facilities is Petkeljärvi Center in Petkeljärvi National Park.

Pets at Manta Inn

Well-behaved pets are welcome in some of the Mantan Majatalo apartments. Always inform us in advance when making your accommodation reservation if you will be bringing pets. The pet fee is €15/pet/stay.

We hope that animals will not get on the beds and sofas in our accommodation apartments. However, if you know that a pet will be sleeping next to you, we kindly ask you to bring your own bed linen. Pets must be kept on a leash in the yard. Pet waste must be cleared away from the yard in accordance with good manners.

The owner of the animal is responsible for any damage caused by the animal.
