Welcome to our guests to celebrate the midsummer festival, Midsummer in the landscapes of Möhkö.

Kohan kohinaa river boat trips are held during Midsummer at 12 and 4 p.m. on Midsummer Eve, Friday, June 20, and on Midsummer Day, Saturday, June 21, 2026.

We will take a river boat trip to Koitajoki and Nuorajärvi from the village of Möhkö. After getting ready, we proceed along the gently flowing Koitajoki River, admiring the riverside scenery towards the shores of Lake Nuorajärvi, returning along the same route. The trip includes coffee or tea with a sweet coffee sandwich. Depending on the weather conditions, coffee is enjoyed either along the way at the Jänissaari nature base or at the end of the trip in Möhkö.

Departure and return: From Möhkö, by the Manta café. It is recommended to be at the starting point no later than 15 min. before departure.

Duration of the trip: 2 hours including getting ready and coffee

Come alone or with a friend. Registration by phone, email or via the electronic contact form no later than 24 hours before the start of each trip. The minimum group size for the implementation of the trips is 4 people. Your electronic reservation is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email. You can inquire about remaining places by phone closer to the start of the trip.

Weather conditions may cause changes to the programs and their schedules. Safety is always our number one priority.

Price 25 €/ person. Includes an hour-long riverboat trip on the Koitajoki River and coffee/tea with a croissant. Children under 15 years of age accompanied by an adult 12.50 €/ person.

During the trip, hikers will receive life jackets, raincoats and a seat mat.

Mantan Majatalo's Midsummer lunch will be available and set up for pick-up on Midsummer Day, Saturday, June 21, from 12-16. Price €25/person.

On Midsummer Day, Saturday, Mantan Majatalo's pop-up café will serve its customers from 12-18. Coffee, tea, sweet café products and a small snack are available.
