CUSTOM TRIP | Winter magic on Jänissaari - a day trip to the middle of nowhere

The trip will be carried out by order at a time to be agreed upon.

Departure and return: Möhkö village, Mantan Inn. Koulurannantie 3 a, 82980 Möhkö.

Group size: 6–16 people.

Duration of the trip: 6 hours including equipment and coffee breaks.

The first stage of the trip will take us from Möhkö Mantan Inn by snowmobile sleigh ride or Kickspark propellers to the ancient Jänissaari on Lake Nuorajärvi, where the journey will be about ten kilometers.

A nature camp awaits you in Jänissaari, equipped with a hut and a warm yurt tent. After a wilderness lunch, we will get used to the wilderness life. Do you just feel like being there? Enjoy the roaring fire in the stove and even take a nap? If you wish, you have the opportunity to try snowshoeing and ice fishing. The day's excursion is crowned with delicious wall-bottom pancakes and authentic sokpan coffee.

At the end of the day, we return to Möhkö on a snowmobile sleigh ride or by kicking it with propellers.

All our excursions are carried out on a full-service basis, led by guides from Manta Nature Services. The basis of our excursions is experiencing and doing things together, without forgetting the joy of exercise. The small group size ensures that the excursion program can be adjusted according to the wishes of the participants.

Excursion price: €95.00/ person, for a group size of 6 - 10 people. €75.00/ person, for a group size of 11 - 16 people. Larger and smaller groups with different agreements.

Equipment: Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear suitable for winter outdoor activities. We provide winter overalls, hats, gloves and warm shoes as well as other necessary equipment.

Additional services: Accommodation, sauna, catering from dinner to breakfast, Metsämieli exercises, handicrafts in nature packages, team adventures. We will be happy to tell you what Möhkö has to offer in the winter!

Other things to note: We take into account the current corona situation and the regulations and instructions that come with it in our operations. By following the instructions provided, you can safely participate in our trips. Please do not participate in our tours if you have respiratory or other flu symptoms or if you have been possibly exposed to corona.
